Email Permission
We hate the spam same as you do; and thus, do not spam our clients. However, by using our mobile applications (free or paid versions) you automatically agree to give us a permission to send you an occasional newsletter email. Emails we collect from our clients are used only for our email newsletters and occasional email campaign. Emails we send are only to inform our users about changes in the program or to send program specific promotions or news.
We never run our email campaigns more than once a quarter and we always provide one click un-subscribe link in each email, so every client has an option to opt-out from our mailing list.

ETX Applications and their Access Permissions
By downloading our application from Google Play (or elsewhere), ETX Software Inc. application has access to one or more of the below services. Some of the following permissions are necessary for our Android applications to work as designed. Most of our apps use only some of these permissions, rarely all, one exception to this rule is Andy application that needs most of the permissions, as it has functions that need to call or send sms messages on voice command.
CALLS
Allows the app to call phone numbers without your intervention. This may result in unexpected charges or calls. Note that this doesn’t allow the app to call emergency numbers. Malicious apps may cost you money by making calls without your confirmation.
SMS MESSAGES
Allows the app to send SMS messages. This may result in unexpected charges. Malicious apps may cost you money by sending messages without your confirmation.
CHANGE YOUR AUDIO SETTINGS
Allows the app to modify global audio settings such as volume and which speaker is used for output.
TAKE PICTURES AND VIDEOS
Allows the app to take pictures and videos with the camera. This permission allows the app to use the camera at any time without your confirmation.
PRECISE LOCATION (GPS AND NETWORK-BASED)
Allows the app to get your precise location using the Global Positioning System (GPS) or network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power.
APPROXIMATE LOCATION (NETWORK-BASED)
Allows the app to get your approximate location. This location is derived by location services using network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. EDIT YOUR TEXT MESSAGES (SMS OR MMS)

FULL NETWORK ACCESS

MODIFY PHONE STATE
Allows the app to control the phone features of the device. An app with this permission can switch networks, turn the phone radio on and off and the like without ever notifying you.

Allows the app to send sticky broadcasts, which remain after the broadcast ends. Excessive use may make the tablet slow or unstable by causing it to use too much memory. DIRECTLY CALL ANY PHONE NUMBERS

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on ETX Software Inc. and possibly also through Admob Ads installed in some of our ETX Software Inc. applications.
Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to your users based on their visit to ETX Software Inc. and other sites on the Internet.

Logging and Data Collecting
Similarly, to most internet enabled mobile sites, ETX Software Inc. is using Google Analytics product in our applications, as well as some of our own home grown logging tailored for our own analytics. The information inside the logs we collect, includes the same information as any other application would typically automatically gather. That includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, user device type as well as demographic information. Please note that IP addresses, and other such information that maybe linked to specific information that is personally identifiable. As far as other login goes, the Andy application specifically may store questions and answers in the application database, along with client’s question history based on the device email address (note: this function is currently turned off). This is very similar system other companies and mobile application are using and there is no reason for concern. To verify licensing of our software, we collect following information from each device using our online services: Device’s Android Version, Unique ID, Manufacturer, Model, Brand, Display Size and Country of Origin. We are however very strongly rooted in security and our entire operation is storing and transferring every single byte in an encrypted form. Everything in and out of your device, while using ETX Software Inc. is completely secured against interceptions using one of the most efficient encryption forms. Additionally, we never share any of your private data with 3rd parties, nor will we ever sell it to anyone. Rest assured your communication with ETX Software Inc. is secure.
Advertising Partners
Some of our advertising partners may use cookies and web beacons on our site. Our advertising partners include Google Adsense and Admob, albeit we may use also Mobfox, Commission Junction, Widget Bucks, Adbrite, Clickbank, Azoogle, Chitika, Linkshare, Amazon, Kontera or other providers in the future.

Specifically in regards to Andy free and paid application, ETX Software Inc. does not own the content available through ETX Software Inc. application. Content provided and answers to your questions (while using ETX Software Inc. application), is gathered from automated Internet searches (Wiki, Google searches, etc…), which consequently means, that we have no control over the content and we’re also not in any way responsible for the answers ETX Software Inc. provides to you in any form.
Physical, electronic, and managerial procedures have been employed to safeguard the security and integrity of all your personal queries (questions you asked ETX Software Inc.) and also for information, such as your email address, etc.
If you have a valid claim under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, codified at 17 U.S.C. 512 (the x93DMCAx94), believing that there is a page on our web server (or there is an answers provided by ETX Software Inc. application) which is violating the copyright interests of your party, we will comply and remove the cached version of such content.
