Why is the privacy policy a Google Doc?
What data does Obsrv collect about my usage?
Is any data of mine shared with a third party?
I wanted to write the privacy policy in a simple manner, without lawyerspeak. I also wanted to give you the ability to ask any specific questions about the policy via comments, and believe the best way to make this possible was to write the policy as a Google Doc.
Obsrv collects some basic data about your app usage to prioritize feature development and maintenance. This includes:
Obsrv does not collect any personal identification information. We do not collect any information regarding which prototype URLs you are loading.
None of your data is shared with a third party, except under one condition: when you share an entire project. Obsrv uses Branch Metrics to create the share links, and provides them with a list of your prototypes. This allows us to retrieve your links when somebody adds the project by opening the link you created. Information regarding Branch Metrics’ security efforts can be found on their site.
If this is against your company’s policy, you can continue to share a project manually by sharing individual links. Obsrv is capable of opening these links on Android devices from any other application that might launch the URL. Please do let me know if this is a concern for you, and I can look at alternative ways for you to share a bunch of URLs from a project in a simpler manner.
