Privacy Policy

MediBang Inc. (here referred to as the "Company") has established the following privacy policy (here referred to as the "Policy") regarding the handling of personal information on each website operated by the Company and each application distributed by the Company (here referred to as the "Service").

1.Personal Information
  1. For the purpose of the Policy, personal information is defined as information about an individual that the Company collects in accordance with the Policy when the User uses the Service, and information that can identify the specific individual contained in the information (excluding personal identification codes).   6. ＊About Advertisements With regard to the distribution services of advertisements provided by third parties used by the Company in the Service, the Company collects information in a form that does not identify individuals by using cookies, etc. in order to distribute optimal advertisements.   7. ＊About Emails sent from the Company If you do not wish to receive these emails, you can change your preferences by visiting your user preferences page or by clicking on the link in the email to change your preferences.
2.Intended use of personal information
  1. The Company collect and process personal information only for the purposes described below:
    1. To provide the Service.
    2. To complete procedures such as account registration, account withdrawal, and identity verification.
    3. To provide various communications and information regarding the Service.
    4. To fulfill contracts such as sales of contents and delivery of products through the Service.
    5. To operate contests and other services provided through the Service, and to pay prize money and send prizes, etc.

4.Retention period of personal information

5.Outsourcing the management of personal information

In the event that the Company consigns the handling of acquired personal information to a third party, the Company will enter into a necessary agreement with the consignor regarding the handling of personal information and supervise the consignor to ensure that the consignor manages the personal information appropriately.
6.Provision of personal information to third parties
  1. The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without the consent of the user, except when permitted by law. However, this does not apply to the following cases:
    1. When the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.

7.Disclosure of personal information
  1. When the Company receives a request from a user to disclose the user's personal information, the Company will disclose the information to the user after confirming that the request is made by the user himself/herself. However, the Company may not disclose all or part of the information in the following cases:
    1. When there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the user or a third party.
    2. If there is a risk of significant hindrance to the proper execution of the business of the entity handling the personal information.
    3. When it would violate other laws and regulations.
8.Rights regarding personal information
  1. Users may withdraw their consent to the Policy at any time. However, the withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the treatment based on the consent before the withdrawal.
  2. You may exercise your right of access to your own information.
  3. In the event of a request from a user, the Company will investigate the request within a reasonable period of time after confirming that the request was made by the relevant user, and based on the results of the investigation, the Company will correct, delete, or limit the use of the personal information.

9.Exemption from liability

10.Revision of the Privacy Policy
