The Protect Your Kid app collects, stores and uses the listed personal data in accordance with § 3 Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) for the following purpose:
The user’s e-mail address is required for successful registration and implementation of password support services. This service includes sending the user their user-password in case of renewal or loss. In addition, by providing their cell phone number, the user has the option of receiving their personal password via text message (SMS).
The data collected are not used for advertising purposes in accordance with § 28 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
Google Analytics
As part of Protect Your Kid usage, we collect statistical data that cannot be attributed at any time to your person. This serves to improve Protect Your Kid.
Protect Your Kid uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, text files that are saved and allow an analysis of your use of the app. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this app are usually transferred to a Google server in the US and stored there. However, in the case that IP anonymization is activated for this app, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA where it is then truncated. On behalf of the operator of this app Google will use this information to evaluate your use of this app and compile reports on the activities. The IP address from your smartphone, which is transferred within the scope of Google Analytics, is not associated with any other data held by Google.
