We develop and distribute certain software applications (“App”), as well as develop small software packages or software development kits (“SDK”) which are used by certain website publishers, mobile app publishers or companies and other companies (“Independent Users”), for the purposes of utilizing the same in connection with developing and operating their own applications (“Independent Users Applications”), for tracking offline viewership of television programmes and advertisements (“Services”) and other user behavior.  This privacy policy covers the site www.zapr.in and our ZAPR SDK.

This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data to analyze trends in the aggregate and administer the site.

We may collect the Information automatically when we deliver the Services. An App may be made available to you (i) as a download directly from RBL; or (ii) as part of an Independent User Application that includes the App and which has been downloaded by you from (or otherwise provided to you by) an authorized distributor pursuant to an agreement with RBL.

While rendering the Services pursuant to the download of the App onto your device, we use a variety of technologies (such as an frequency fingerprinting) to automatically or passively record and collect Information, based on your access or usage of service or as a result of any Individual User Application interacting with the App (such as creating frequency fingerprints from the user’s device from time to time), in order to collect sample data for analyzing viewership of television programmes and advertisements.

We and our partners use technologies such as cookies, beacons, tags and scripts on certain pages of the Website to help analyze our webpage flow, measure promotional effectiveness, and promote trust and safety. You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level, but if you choose to disable cookies, it may limit your use of certain features or functions on our website or service, but we offer certain features that are only available through the use of these technologies.

Security and information

We have stringent security measures (physical, electronic and managerial) in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. From time to time, we review our security procedures to consider appropriate new technology and methods The Website’s and App’s servers are accessible only to authorized personnel and your information is shared with employees and authorized personnel on a ‘need to know’ basis to complete the analysis of the data collected from you. We use adequate encryption at the time of collection and storage of any information from you in order to render the Information collected as undecipherable. The fingerprints collected can never be reconverted back into any audio due to the inherent privacy centered nature of the fingerprinting technology and algorithms used.

The security, integrity and confidentiality of your information are extremely important to us. Please be aware though that, despite our best efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. In the event of a data breach affecting personal information, we will take appropriate steps to notify details of the breach.
