1. Scope of Application of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies when users use service of Mynet, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Mynet”). Personal information, which is synonymous with ‘personal information’ defined in Article 2. Paragraph 1. of Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter the same), gained by Mynet is managed in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This privacy Policy does not apply when Mynet does not gain personal information directly.

2. Collection of Information

・When users use service of Mynet, Mynet may automatically collect non-personal information with the user's consent such as IP addresses of users, advertisement identifiers (e.g. IDFA, Android advertisement IDs and other identifiers used for purpose of advertisement, hereinafter the same), cookie information, pages browsed by users, usage environment of users etc. (hereinafter referred to as “non-personal information”).
・Personal information of users that Mynet collects is limited to minimum information necessary for users to use service of Mynet.
・When Mynet asks users to register user information or users inquires to Mynet, Mynet may ask users about personal information of users.

3. Use of Information

Mynet may use personal information and/ or non-personal information of users for the following purposes.

・To provide and operate services.
・To notify users, and to introduce services of Mynet.
・To verify identity of users.
・To respond to inquiries.
・To research, collect statistics of, and/or analyze usage trends.
・To develop new service and/or new functions.
・To maintain and/or improve systems, or to deal with malfunction of equipment.

4. Disclosure of Information

Mynet will not sell or lend personal information to third parties except for the following cases where;
・Users agree with disclosure of information.
・Mynet is required by courts, public prosecutor’s offices, the police, tax offices or other equivalent organizations to disclose personal information as required by law.
・Users infringe the law and/or Terms and Conditions of Use etc. regarding use of service provided by Mynet, and Mynet determines that disclosure of information is necessary for protection of rights, properties or services etc. of Mynet and/or third parties, and it is difficult for Mynet to obtain consensus from the users.
・Mynet needs to disclose personal information to parties which bear confidentiality obligation to Mynet for the business of Mynet.
・Disclosure of personal information is admitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws.

5. Security

Information of users is protected by password for privacy protection and security of users. If needed, Mynet uses SSL, which is a de facto standard, to protect data transfer.

6. Changes to Privacy Policy

Mynet may modify the Privacy Policy partially or completely. When Mynet makes changes to the Privacy Policy, Mynet will provide notice on Mynet’s website.

Privacy Policy (For Persons to Whom the GDPR Applies)

1. Regarding this Privacy Policy

This privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) explains how Mynet Group (see the note at the end of this Privacy Policy; collectively “Mynet”) will obtain and process the personal data of users of, and persons who wish to use, Mynet services who are located in the European Economic Area (the “EEA”) and to whom the General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”) applies (collectively “Users”). Please refer to the privacy policy above for users of, and persons who wish to use, Mynet services who are located outside the EEA and to whom the GDPR does not apply.
Mynet will process the personal data of Users in accordance with the GDPR. Mynet will act as a controller of the personal data of Users under the GDPR.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using Mynet services. A User may not use Mynet services if he or she does not want his or her personal data to be obtained, processed, or transferred by Mynet in the manner stated in this Privacy Policy.

2. Use of Personal Data

Mynet will process the personal data of Users based on at least one of the legal bases provided for in the GDPR (Articles 6 and 7).

Mynet will obtain and process the personal data of Users in order to pursue the following legitimate interests:

Mynet will obtain all or some of the categories of personal data set out below for the legitimate interests stated above. Mynet will obtain personal data that is adequate, relevant, and necessary in relation to those legitimate interests.

・Information about pages that Users have viewed
・Information about Users’ use environments
・Billing log data
・Country
・Latest login time

Mynet may obtain personal data from Users directly and indirectly. Typically, Mynet obtains personal data directly when a User registers for Mynet services, uses Mynet services, or makes an inquiry to Mynet, and Mynet obtains personal data indirectly through a User’s electronic communication terminal equipment or a User’s Internet browser.

4. Sharing of Personal Data

Each company in Mynet may share with the following entities the personal data of Users in accordance with the GDPR:

・other companies of Mynet;
・third parties that have been approved by Users;
・service providers and contractors of Mynet; and
・public institutions.

Mynet may also cause the transfer of personal data of Users to a country outside the EEA. Mynet will ensure that each such transfer is conducted under appropriate and proper safeguards as required by the GDPR. A User may obtain copies of written information regarding relevant safeguard measures by making a request to the address below.

5. Management of Personal Data

Mynet will take necessary measures to ensure that the personal data of Users is accurate and kept up to date.
Mynet will store the personal data of Users for as long as it is necessary for Mynet to comply with legal obligations, to ensure that Mynet provides appropriate services, and to maintain Mynet’s business activities. If a User exercises his or her right to erase his or her personal data in accordance with the GDPR, Mynet will erase that data without undue delay.

6. Security

Mynet will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data of Users in accordance with the GDPR.

7. Rights of Users

Under the GDPR, each User has the following rights regarding his or her personal data obtained and processed by Mynet:

・the right to obtain from Mynet confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her is being processed, and if that is the case, then to access that personal data and certain information related to that personal data;
・the right to cause Mynet to rectify inaccuracies in personal data concerning him or her;
・the right to cause Mynet to erase personal data concerning him or her;
・the right to restrict Mynet’s processing of personal data concerning him or her;
・the right to object to processing of personal data concerning him or her; and
・the right to receive personal data concerning him or her in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and the right to transmit that data to another controller without hindrance from Mynet.

If a User intends to exercise any of the rights stated above, he or she is requested to contact Mynet by sending an email to the address below.
If Mynet processes the personal data of a User based on his or her consent, then that User is entitled to withdraw his or her consent at any time. However, the withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing that was conducted based on the User’s consent before the consent was withdrawn. If a User is of the opinion that the processing of personal data concerning him or her violates the GDPR, he or she may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
