1.1 We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of users of the MyRadar suite of mobile apps, desktop apps and website.

1.2 This policy applies where we are acting as a data controller with respect to the personal data of MyRadar users; in other words, where we determine the purposes and means of the processing of that personal data.

1.3 We use cookies on our website. Insofar as those cookies are not strictly necessary for the provision of MyRadar services, we will ask you to consent to our use of cookies when you first visit our website.

1.4 Our apps incorporate privacy and notification controls which affect how we will process your personal data. By using the privacy controls, you can specify whether you would like to receive direct marketing communications and weather notifications. You can access the privacy controls via the settings menu.

3.3 We may process data used to facilitate media uploads and social sharing ("account data").The account data may include your chosen screenname and email address, and well as social network identities. The source of the account data is information you provide when registering for an account with us. The account data may be processed for the purposes of operating our website, providing our services, ensuring the security of our website and services, maintaining back-ups of our databases and communicating with you. The legal basis for this processing is your explicit consent given when registering for an account.

3.4 We may process your information included in your personal profile on our service ("profile data"). The profile data may include your name, telephone number, email address, website urls, and profile pictures. The profile data may be processed for the purposes of enabling and monitoring your use of our website apps, and services. The legal basis for this processing is your consent.

4. Providing your personal data to others

4.1 We may disclose your personal data to any member of our group of companies (this means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and all its subsidiaries) insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes, and on the legal bases, set out in this policy.

4.2 We may disclose your personal data to our insurers and/or professional advisers insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes of obtaining or maintaining insurance coverage, managing risks, obtaining professional advice, or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, whether in court proceedings or in an administrative or out-of-court procedure.

4.3 We may disclose anonymized location and other data to our suppliers or subcontractors. insofar as reasonably necessary to improve your advertising experience, and for monetization and analytics purposes.

4.3.1 In addition to other information described in this policy, we may collect and share precise location information, including the presence of connected devices via bluetooth, through methods such as mobile “SDKs” by means of our partnership with Cuebiq , which helps cover the costs of developing and maintaining this app and related services thereof. This information may be used by itself, aggregated, or combined with mobile identifiers (such as IDFAs, Android IDs, device IDs, and IP addresses), and may be shared with other parties, for purposes related to advertising, attribution (e.g., measuring ad performance), analytics, research, and to recognize your device across the internet. You can withdraw your consent to having your location data collected by changing the settings on your device (note that certain services may lose functionality as a result). You can also activate your device’s opt-out settings which will: (i) tell advertisers to not use your in-app information from that device for purposes of collecting and serving interest-based advertising and (ii) inform Cuebiq to halt further data collection and sharing from that device. Additionally, you can opt-out from the Cuebiq app directly ( iOS , Android ).

4.3.2 In addition to other information described in this policy, if you have chosen to enable the MyRoutes functionality we may collect (or permit Arity to collect) and share your personal information, include precise location, trip location, driving event data, (such as speed, change in speed and other aspects of how, how much, where and when you drive) and other information with Arity 875, LLC (“Arity”), which provides driving analytics services to enable us to provide certain functionalities, such as driving event history, predicted commute information and commute advice based on current weather conditions. Arity may also use this information for personalized advertising on our properties and elsewhere, to build and supplement user profiles, segments and audiences, calculate discounts, rewards or pricing offers by third parties such as insurance companies, and to perform various profiling activities. In order to produce a score which may predict the level of driver riskiness, and to develop its risk predictive models for its own analytics purposes; and for mapping, traffic and navigation. 4.4 Financial transactions relating to our services may be handled by our payment services providers, including Apple, Microsoft, and Google. We will share transaction data with our payment services providers only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing your payments, refunding such payments and dealing with complaints and queries relating to such payments and refunds.

4.6 In addition to the specific disclosures of personal data set out in this Section 4, we may disclose your personal data where such disclosure is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person. We may also disclose your personal data where such disclosure is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, whether in court proceedings or in an administrative or out-of-court procedure.

5. International transfers of your personal data

5.1 In this Section 5, we provide information about the circumstances in which your personal data may be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
